About the Property
A LUXURIOUS RETREAT IN RURAL BRITTANY
Le Camus, our holiday home in Brittany is a renovated Breton Longere divided into two lovely gîtes with a shared meadow garden.
Grand Camus has three double bedrooms sleeping 6, and Petit Camus has two double bedrooms sleeping 4. Many of the rooms can be made up as twins if required.
The property is a truly tranquil location, ideal for barbecues, relaxing with a book and a drink, watching the bird life, sketching the scenery, strolling or fishing beside the nearby river. Situated in a rural setting in grounds overlooking ancient moorland and forest providing plenty of private outdoor space for each property, with individual barbecues and garden furniture provided. The stresses of everyday life can easily be put aside to enjoy the slower pace of Breton life. For the more energetic try following the marked cycling, pony trekking or rambling trails through the nearby forest or kayaking down river.

For days out the gîtes are close enough to bustling market towns, good quality restaurants, a wide variety of historic sites, two large inland lakes with water sports, or the beautifully scenic north coast beaches and golf courses to provide plenty of options for everyone.
The gîtes at Le Camus have been carefully renovated to create comfortable and well equipped homes that are suitable for year round use. We ensure Le Camus is somewhere we look forward to holidaying ourselves; the properties are managed locally by our immediate family, who are close enough to answer any queries you may have to help you make the most of your stay in this beautiful and friendly area of Brittany.

We are happy to accept bookings for 4 day short breaks and offer significant discounts for longer lets between October to May. We have no restrictions on arrival days or times (subject only to existing bookings) and our prices include bed linen, utilities and a welcome pack. .

The location and Gite were beyond our expectations. We truly lucked out on this find. Its rare to find a Gite in France that has the facilities to match the number of people it can sleep. All well thought out. Wonderful and immense garden and huge outdoor table and chairs by the BBQ. No negatives that we could think of.
Location is perfect for exploring both North and South coasts.

"We spent a long weekend with 6 friends and booked the combined houses. It was unanimously agreed that Le Camus is by far the best property we have ever rented. The house is finished to an extremely high standard and provides light, airy, spacious accommodation. Furnishing is excellent and the whole party remarked on the most comfortable beds we have experienced. The house is superbly well equipped and a great deal of thought has gone into the items provided. Le Camus is located in a remote area offering complete tranquility, yet within a few minutes drive of Plemet where there is a supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants."
