The property has has facilities which means that it is suited to accommodation year round. It is maintained by the same English couple who oversaw its renovation and live nearby. They know the local area well and are available to provide advice on how to get the best from your holiday.
The property is entered from a private driveway/terrace. The accommodation comprises:

Kitchen - luxuriously appointed and provided with more than enough equipment for a party of six. The appliances are brand new and include a range cooker with gas hob and electric oven and a separate microwave. Everything from salad spinner to espresso coffee maker is included.
Dining Room - the open plan ground floor layout floods the property with light. There is a dining table that can extend to seat 8 in comfort or 10 at a pinch, and a sideboard with all the necessary crockery and equipment.

Living Room - set at right angles to the dining room, but continuing the open plan feel, the living room features three comfy sofas, a wood burning stove, TV/DVD, board games books and a CD player with MP3 jack. There is also a fold away card table for those who might wish to while away a few hours playing bridge or other card games.
Downstairs Bedroom - comfortably appointed with twin beds that can be configured as a king sized double if desired. Chests of drawers, mirror, hanging space, chair.
Shower Room - adjacent to the downstairs bedroom making Le Grand Camus suitable for guests that might not feel comfortable using stairs. Walk in shower, WC and sink with storage underneath. Also houses water heater and washing machine.

Master Bedroom - magnificent super king sized 4 poster bed, exposed oak beams and chandeliers, wardrobe, chest and dressing table. Views to both the South and North over beautiful unspoiled countryside. A perfect room to add a little romance to your holiday.

Second Upstairs Bedroom - pretty blue and white decor in a beautiful spacious room with exposed oak beams, wardrobe, chest and dressing table. Wonderful views to the South. This room has twin beds that can be reconfigured as a super king sized bed if desired.

Outside
The house is situated in large south-west facing grounds with a large private terrace with a stone built BBQ. It has shrub bordered lawn leading to an apple orchard. There are uninterrupted views across woodland and ancient moor land. Plenty of wooden garden furniture is provided. Le Grand Camus is on an extremely quiet rural road serving just two other properties and has little or no traffic. There is sufficient space for three vehicles to be parked off road.
